Encore Acquisitions Co. has been at its current location at 777Main St. in Carter Burgess Plaza for several years. In 2004, thecompany signed a nine-year lease that involved a renewal of itsspace on the 14th and 15th floors, and new space on floor 16.
The Star-Telegram article noted that Denbury has 830 employees,and when the dust settles, the combined companies will haveapproximately 1,200 employees. Following the closing of the merger,Encore chairman Jon Brumley and his son, CEO Jonny Brumley, willleave the company.
