CHICAGO-Bank of America has named Colliers Bennett &Kahnweiler Inc. the marketing agent of Beverly Place, a mixed-usedevelopment at 1824 W. 103rd St. The asking price is $2.8 million.The development consists of a 22,572-square-foot, three-story brickbuilding and improved land site. The first floor is retail, and thetop two floors are 10 units of condominiums. Behind the building isa land site with 28 partially-improved townhouse lots. The lot sizeis 1.7 acres. Gregory Pacelli and Mark Dolemba will lead themarketing efforts.

CHICAGO-Alliant Capital LLC has arranged the refinancing of twomultifamily properties in the city. The deals included the $1.6million refinancing of Kedzie Boulevard Apartments, an 18-unitgarden-style apartment community; and the $1.1 million refinance ofEast 42nd Street Apartments, a 23-unit mid-rise property. JohnMarr, SVP, closed both transactions on behalf of a privateborrower. "Chicago is a strong market, attracting a wide variety ofinvestors," Marr said in a statement. This was the first Fannie Maeloan the sponsor used, and it was this capability that attractedAmerican Street Capital, a client advisory firm based in Chicagospecializing in securing financing for income-producing properties,to partner with Alliant and broker both transactions.

WILLOWBROOK, IL-Gourmet grocer Lassak Delicatessen will open itssecond location in the Western suburbs in May at the 186,138-squarefoot Willowbrook Town Center, according to center owner HarlemIrving Cos. Lassak leased 10,000 square feet, and is currentlyfinishing interior construction. Lassak's other location is inPalos Hills, IL. Buffalo Wild Wings also recently signed a leasefor 6,500 square feet at the center. Tenants at the locationinclude Michaels, Bed Bath & Beyond and Sports Authority. The2-year-old center is on 24 acres at the intersection of PlainfieldRoad and Illinois Route 83, and is 90% leased.
