CHICAGO-Bank of America has named Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler Inc. the marketing agent of Beverly Place, a mixed-use development at 1824 W. 103rd St. The asking price is $2.8 million. The development consists of a 22,572-square-foot, three-story brick building and improved land site. The first floor is retail, and the top two floors are 10 units of condominiums. Behind the building is a land site with 28 partially-improved townhouse lots. The lot size is 1.7 acres. Gregory Pacelli and Mark Dolemba will lead the marketing efforts.

CHICAGO-Alliant Capital LLC has arranged the refinancing of two multifamily properties in the city. The deals included the $1.6 million refinancing of Kedzie Boulevard Apartments, an 18-unit garden-style apartment community; and the $1.1 million refinance of East 42nd Street Apartments, a 23-unit mid-rise property. John Marr, SVP, closed both transactions on behalf of a private borrower. "Chicago is a strong market, attracting a wide variety of investors," Marr said in a statement. This was the first Fannie Mae loan the sponsor used, and it was this capability that attracted American Street Capital, a client advisory firm based in Chicago specializing in securing financing for income-producing properties, to partner with Alliant and broker both transactions.

WILLOWBROOK, IL-Gourmet grocer Lassak Delicatessen will open its second location in the Western suburbs in May at the 186,138-square foot Willowbrook Town Center, according to center owner Harlem Irving Cos. Lassak leased 10,000 square feet, and is currently finishing interior construction. Lassak's other location is in Palos Hills, IL. Buffalo Wild Wings also recently signed a lease for 6,500 square feet at the center. Tenants at the location include Michaels, Bed Bath & Beyond and Sports Authority. The 2-year-old center is on 24 acres at the intersection of Plainfield Road and Illinois Route 83, and is 90% leased.

ZION, IL-Martha's Day Care, which currently has one location in Waukegan, IL, has opened a second location here with a 3,750-square-foot lease at 2682 Sheridan Rd. Susan Valle with Inland Real Estate Brokerage Inc. negotiated the lease.

BROADVIEW, IL-Arrow Pneumatics has extended its lease at a 43,000-square-foot industrial space at 2111 W. 21st St. Daniel Fanelli and Anthony Leeds with Darwin Realty & Development Corp. represented all parties in the transaction. The lease rate and term were not disclosed.

SOUTHFIELD, MI-Neumann Smith Architects has leased 13,567 square feet of office at 400 Galleria here. Steve Morris, executive managing director and principal with Newmark Knight Frank negotiated the lease on behalf of the tenant.
