Starwood began construction two years ago on the high-endhotel-condo project, which replaced the Sheraton Bal Harbour. TheSt. Regis Bal Harbour Resort is being promoted as the largestresidential-resort project in the Southeast, with 270 privatehomes, 205 guest rooms, 37 condo-hotel units, a 12,000-square-footRemede spa and large balconies overlooking the Atlantic Ocean andBiscayne Bay.

"This is an unparalleled location, and our continuing progressand achievements such as topping off have further fueled the salesinterest and activity we are enjoying in 2010 as clients seek tosecure the best of our remaining residences," says John Manrique,the resort's vice president of sales and marketing. He adds thatthe St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort will feature the same "best ofeverything" service levels as its namesake hotel in New York City,including traditional English butlers.

The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort will join a select portfolio ofSt. Regis hotels in 17 locations around the globe. Atlanta, Houstonand Washington, DC are currently the nearest locations toFlorida.
