Starwood purchased the two asserts in 1996. London-based St.Giles is dropping the W name from the properties when theacquisition is near completion.
Starwood owns four other W-branded hotels in the city. Currentlyunder construction is the W Downtown. Starwood currently owns 6.5%of the 973 assets that carry its brand names.
