A price tag on the investment was not disclosed.

Colliers B&K was started in 1947 and now has a management portfolio that totals 50 million square feet in the Chicago-land area. The company has more than 200 professionals. Colliers International has said its investment will not result in any personnel or management changes within Colliers B&K.

Colliers International has more than 15,000 employees throughout 61 countries. Jointly Colliers International and its affiliates manage more than 1.5 billion square feet of property. Colliers International is a subsidiary of FirstService Corp.
