PHOENIX-With more sunny days than any other city in the nation, it’s no surprise that Phoenix has attracted several companies that specialize in manufacturing solar energy components.

For example, Livonia, Mich.-based Tower Automotive leased 460,000 square feet at the former Rubbermaid manufacturing facility at 17300 W. Broadway Lane in Goodyear. The deal marks the largest industrial lease in Arizona so far this year.

Doug Heller, Eric Dienstbach and Rob Gemerchak with Philadelphia-based Binswanger represented both the tenant and the landlord, Horsham, Pa.-based BET Investments, in the transaction. Binswanger announced the lease, but did not identify the tenant.
