FRISCO, TX-buybuyBABY, a retail concept from Bed Bath &Beyond, has leased 32,746 square feet at South Frisco Village forits fourth store in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The chain, whichsells a variety of baby merchandise and competes with Babies’R’Us,signed a 10-year lease for the junior anchor space.

The new store, located at 2300 Preston Rd., will open thissummer, according to Steve Lieberman, CEO of The Retail Connection,a Dallas-based retail real estate brokerage firm. He and DavidFazio, also of The Retail Connection, represented buybuyBABY in thelease, while the landlord, Teachers Insurance and AnnuityAssociation of America LP, was represented by Jeff Kittleson andEric Fedro with CB Richard Ellis.

Lieberman tells GlobeSt. that buybuyBABY is expanding and hasother locations planned in DFW. “buybuyBABY is one of Bed Bath& Beyond's three growth vehicles in addition to Bed Bath &Beyond and Christmas Tree Stores,” he says. “The Retail Connectionis currently working on several locations for Bed, Bath &Beyond's brands throughout Texas and the Southwest.”
