MECHANICSBURG, PA-Reckitt Benckiser, N.A. is about to call UpperAllen Business Park here its new home, with the consumer productsgiant leasing an 812,000-square-foot warehouse and distributionfacility from an investment arm of New York Life Insurance Co.

Newmark Knight Frank’s David Simson, vice chairman of the firm'sNew Jersey operations, and managing director Mitchell Katzrepresented the tenant in its search for a new location in the NewYork metropolitan area. New York Life was represented internally byRon Petit, who is based in the company’s New York City office.

According to Simson, the seven-year lease carries a rental rateof approximately $3.50, along with annual market bumps. ReckittBenckiser’s home, health and personal care brands are sold in over180 countries around the world. Some of its household productsinclude Lysol, Airwick, Woolite, Clearasil and Easy Off.
