DALLAS-Transwestern has hired Karra Guess to lead the firm’sCentral region Tenant Advisory Services practice. In her new roleas managing director, Guess will serve office clients throughoutthe Dallas/Ft. Worth marketplace, as well as clients in othermarkets, and will oversee a team of more than 26 tenantrepresentation brokers.

Prior to joining Transwestern, Guess was employed by Jones LangLaSalle/The Staubach Company. She held a variety of positions ofincreasing responsibility within The Staubach Company, beginning in1992, ultimately serving as senior vice president and chiefoperating officer of The Staubach Company.

This is a new position within the firm, according to Jack Eimer,president of Transwestern’s Central region. He tells GlobeSt. thattenant representation has become a larger part of the firm’soverall business since its acquisition of NAI Stoneleigh Huff BrousMcDowell several years ago. Today, the business accounts for 25% to30% of the firm’s local revenue.
