PARSIPPANY, NJ-Colliers International has hired the leasing team of Joseph Nitti and John Kainer for the organization’s industrial practice group in New Jersey. Nitti and Kainer will hold the titles of executive managing director and senior managing director, respectively.

Together, they will expand the Colliers International spectrum of industrial real estate services in New Jersey and assist in the recruitment of other industrial specialists across the region. With approximately 1.2 billion square feet of industrial assets throughout New Jersey, Colliers International sees a tremendous opportunity to serve its clients and expand its market share.

Most recently, Nitti was president of the industrial division of Sitar Co., a full-service commercial real estate firm based in New Jersey. With more than 16 years experience, Nitti has successfully completed over 30 million square feet of industrial transactions and the sale of more than 2,500 acres of land.

Kainer also comes from Sitar, where he was vice president of the firm’s industrial division, implementing manufacturing principles to identify and capture cost reduction opportunities for clients.
