ALLEN, TX-Kone Inc. has inked two leases totaling more than36,000 square feet to split its existing operations, whichcurrently are housed in 24,000 square feet in McKinney, TX.
Moline, IL-based company, which manufactures and installselevators and escalators, signed a long-term lease for 20,475square feet of flex industrial space at Twin Creeks Business Centerand roughly 16,000 square feet of class A office space at One AllenCenter. It has the distinction of being the city's largestcorporate win to date this year.
"They are a good corporate citizen,” says Robert Winningham,Allen's economic development director. “We're really pleased tohave them in Allen and to help them expand down the road."
