OKLAHOMA CITY-In an effort to meet the tremendous demand forroofing materials and other building suppliers, Gulfeagle SupplyCo. has entered the local market, leasing a 40,000-square-footindustrial building in Metropolitan Industrial Park.

The Tampa, FL-based firm saw an opportunity to expand itsbusiness after Oklahoma City suffered a devastating hail storm lastmonth, according to Gerald Gamble, president of Gerald L. Gamble& Co. He negotiated the deal, representing both the tenant andthe landlord, Scott Investment Corp.

Gamble, a long-time member of the Society of Office andIndustrial Realtors (SIOR), was referred to Gulfeagle Supply byanother SIOR member, Dan Spika, an executive vice president withHenry S. Miller Brokerage LLC in Dallas. Spika had worked withGulfeagle Supply on a lease transaction in the Dallas-Fort WorthMetroplex and when the firm wanted to move into Oklahoma City,Spika recommended Gamble.
