ONTARIO-CresaParters has promoted 25-year industry veteran David Salazar to the position of managing principal overseeing the company's Ontario operation, which Salazar established in 2008 with the opening of the company's first office here. Salazar, formerly managing director with CresaPartners, supervised the expansion of the CresaPartners operation to a new location in Ontario earlier this year.

CresaPartners says that the firm expanded into the Inland Empire in order to support the growth that the company is forecasting there over the next few years. The tenant rep firm has five brokers specializing in industrial tenant representation in the Ontario office.

In addition to his time at CresaPartners, Salazar's career includes posts at CB Richard Ellis for 10 years, as former president and CEO of Sigvaris Inc. and at Baxter Healthcare. During his real estate career he has negotiated over $600 million worth of lease and sale agreements for corporate users.
