Tomorrow's June sales figures are expected to show a 3.2% risein June, a marked improvement from the 4.9% drop during the sameperiod last year. But we're still far from seeing an overallrecovery say analysts in this Reuters article.

Bryan Eshelman of AlixPartners tells the news service: "Thefundamental are just not adding up to a recovery." He says thatwe're still feeling the impact of good numbers in comparison toplunges during last year's monthly same-store sales results.

Part of the problem is also the employment picture. It recentlyfell, as we lost 225,000 temporary Census jobs.
