CHICAGO-Schiller DuCanto & Fleck LLP has negotiated a renewal and extension of its lease at 200 N. LaSalle St. here. The law firm, which has the entire top 30th floor, has renewed 24,000 square feet and has options for further expansion space at various future intervals.

The family law firm has kept its offices in suburban Lake Forest and Wheaton, but could move more downtown depending on growth patterns, says Stacey Kruger Birndorf with Transwestern’s Transaction Advisory Services Group. She represented the firm in the move, while Mark Parrish with Grubb & Ellis represented the building owner.

“Their lease was up in 2016, but they were able to renew for a five-year extension at a lower rental rate,” Birndorf tells GlobeSt.com. “They are looking at growth because they deal exclusively in family law, and their business has been steady and growing.”

The building has 692,040 square feet, and is owned by Younan Properties. The occupancy rate wasn’t release, but Traveler’s Indemnity Co. just recently agreed to move from 97,000 square feet at the building to 161 N. Clark.
