IRVINE, CA-The Boot Barn has signed a five-year lease for 70,722 square feet of space for a new corporate headquarters property at 15776 Laguna Canyon Rd. here, according to 360 Commercial Partners, which represented the retailer. The new space is in the Irvine Co.'s Laguna Canyon Business Center, notes 360 Commercial Partners managing director Louis J. Tomaselli, who describes the business center as a high-image business destination.
Tomaselli says that Boot Barn, a provider of western, work and motorcycle boots online and California's leading boot retailer, with the new space is consolidating its 15,000-square-foot Internet operations in Anaheim and its 28,000-square-foot corporate headquarters/warehouse in Orange.
Tomaselli says that 360 Commercial conducted a comprehensive analysis and market study for Boot Barn throughout Orange County. The relocation of Boot Barn's corporate headquarters and other facilities "delivered significant cost savings and a commuter-friendly, high-profile location in keeping with Boot Barn's premier corporate image," Tomaselli says.
In another recently closed deal in Irvine, Grubb & Ellis Co. reports that olden State Foods signed a 10-year lease for 32,000 square feet of office space at Von Karman Towers in an extension and expansion. Executive vice president and managing director Greg May, along with senior vice president Chon Kantikovit represented Golden State, whikch is one of the largest suppliers in the food service industry. The company will occupy an additional 6,000 square feet at the class A office building, located at 18301 Von Karmen Ave., which serves as the headquarters for Golden State. The property’s landlord, KBS Realty Advisors Inc., was represented by Jeff Morgan of CB Richard Ellis.
