CHICAGO-Illinois Association of Realtors has reported that Junesales of homes in Chicago metropolitan area have increased by 27.2%compared to that of June 2009. There were 9,085 homes sold in Junethis year compared to 7,140 in June 2009.
However, there was a decline in the median prices of homes by1.2%. The median prices of homes stood at $207,500 for June 2010compared to $210,000 the previous year. Sales in Chicago rose by27.5%, while prices dipped 3.2%. For the full story, go toChicagoSun Times.
