WASHINGTON, DC-Tishman Speyer has signed two good-sized leasesat two separate buildings in recent weeks, illustrating the steppedup demand for quality space here. The two leases, one in a recentlyrenovated building in the District’s CBD and one in Arlington, VA,total 67,000 square feet.

The most recent lease is for 28,000 feet at 1730 PennsylvaniaAve., NW. PRTM Management Consultants is taking the space in the255,000-square-foot building in a 10-year deal that will begin inMarch 2011. It plans to occupy the fifth floor and part ofthe sixth.
