The Treeline Cos. has sold its office property at 205 MontagueSt. in Brooklyn, which it has owned since 1995, to Midtown EquitiesGroup for $33 million. In a statement, Treeline president FranSchor says her company “has truly enjoyed its ownership of thishistoric Brooklyn property. Having brought the building to 100percent occupancy with long-term leases in place, however, the timewas right to accept a competitive offer and reap the benefits ofour years of value-added ownership and management.” The five-story,77,000-square-foot property, whose tenants include Massey KnakalRealty Services, was the site at which Jackie Robinson broke thecolor barrier by signing his first Major League Baseball contractwith the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947. Midtown Equities also ownsnearby 200 Montague St.

The 8,426-square-foot retail component of Devonshire House, aprewar condominium at 28 E. 10th St. in Greenwich Village, hastraded for $10.35 million. Seller Devonshire Associates wasrepresented by an Eastern Consolidated team including RonaldSolarz, Eric Anton, Brian Ezratty and Deborah Gutoff. The buyer wasnot disclosed. Attorneys in the deal included Douglas Heller ofHerrick Feinstein for the seller and Eric Orenstein of Rosenberg& Estis for the buyer.
