NEW YORK CITY-A lawsuit has been filed by Brown Harris Stevens, a real-estate broker, alleging that a commission of $880,000 was unlawfully denied to one of its agents in the 1009 Fifth Avenue townhouse sale to Carlos Slim. The suit has been filed in the New York Supreme Court against Tamir Sapir, who sold the town house for $44 million in a secret deal with Carlos Slim.
Venture Capital Properties and Soly Halabi, who represented Carlos Slim, are also named as defendants. For the full story, go to Wall Street Journal.
