LOS ANGELES-Jones Lang LaSalle has named a regional director inits hotels practice and two associate director-vice presidents inits corporate solutions, research and marketing units in threerecent promotions in the L.A. region. John L. Strauss has beenpromoted to regional director-national director of Jones LangLaSalle Hotels; Troy B. Freeman has been promoted to associatedirector-vice president in corporate solutions; Aaron L. Ahlburnhas been promoted to associate director-vice president in researchand marketing.

Strauss and Freeman are both based in the Downtown Los Angelesoffice of Jones Lang LaSalle. Ahlburn is based in JLL's El Segundooffice. Whitley Collins, Jones Lang LaSalle’s senior managingdirector for the Los Angeles Region, notes that Strauss hascompleted in excess of $2.5 billion of hotel transactions sincejoining JLL in 1998 , Freeman has completed over $250 million intransactions on behalf of his clients since joining Jones LangLaSalle in 2006 and Ahlburn has specialized in industrial propertyresearch, analyzing the impact of economic indicators and trends inmarket fundamentals in the warehouse, distribution andmanufacturing sectors.
