CHICAGO-Commissioner Christine Raguso of the Department of Community Development of Chicago is pressing for the old Wrigley gum factory to house high-tech jobs. The factory at 3535 S. Ashland was closed in 2006 and has been listed since 2009.
The factory sits on a 30-acre parcel and is being marketed by CB Richard Ellis Group Inc. The entire complex measures 1.3 million square feet and has an asking price of $19 million. For the full story, go to Chicago Sun Times.
