NEW YORK CITY-The collapse of Sunwest Management Inc. last yearhas attracted many investors to purchase Sunwest's properties. Apartnership between Blackstone Group and Emeritus Corp. is expectedto close a $1.3-billion deal for 140 properties in Southwest thisweek.
