SAN DIEGO-The demand for residential apartments in San Diego is much better compared to hotels or offices. CoStar Group has reported that the sales volume of 25 local apartment units stood at $145 million in 1H10, while it amounted to $196 million in 1H09.

However, sales are driven mainly by low interest rates and capital investment flowing from the sidelines. The San Diego market fared much better compared to other areas in the country. For the full story, go to San Diego Business Journal.
