SUGAR LAND, TX-Planned Community Developers Ltd. (PCD) hassigned its first tenant for its recently completed class A officebuilding in Sugar Land Town Square. Contract Land Staff LLC inked aseven-year lease for 20,000 square feet at 2245 Texas Dr.

The new six-story building contains 166,000 square feet ofoffice space and 13,000 square feet of ground level retail space.It is the third and final office building that PCD has planned anddeveloped in the Town Square, which is situated on 32 acres at theintersection of U.S. 59 and Highway 6.

PCD built all three building on a speculative basis, accordingto Don Janssen, senior vice president of PCD. The company beganworking on the final building right as the economy collapsed, butit was able to obtain construction financing from JP Morgan Chasebecause of the leasing activity in PCD’s other two Town Centeroffice buildings.
