NEW YORK CITY-Genting Berhad will open the first gambling parlor in the state in New York's Aqueduct racetrack upon satisfying certain legislative requirements.
The Malaysian casino giant has ambitious expansion plans for both the racetrack located in Queens and others across the US. The new gambling parlor, Genting's first in the US, will house 4,500 electronic table games and slot machines, with plans to expand the site into a resort which will include high-end hotels with international appeal.
