CHICAGO-The owner of the troubled 3728-30 N. Southport Ave.building, developer William Platt has filed for bankruptcyprotection in Chicago's U.S. Bankruptcy Court, as the property washit by a foreclosure lawsuit.

Citigroup Inc. based out of New York has filed a $1.8 millionforeclosure suit against the property on a loan of $1.95 million.The occupants at the building include Access Realty Group Inc.,Platt Construction Inc. and a branch of Chase Bank. For thefull story, go to Crain's Chicago Business.
