NIAGARA FALL, NY-A troubled 12-story landmark at the Niagara Falls will go under the hammer next month. The Niagara Gazette has reported that the Hotel Niagara will go on a foreclosure auction on September 24. The hotel owners Amidee Hotel Niagara LLC owe back taxes worth over $119,000. The owners acquired the building in 2007 but failed to finalize a proposed renovation to the hotel. Amidee Hotels and Resorts Inc. is the parent company of Amidee Hotel Niagara LLC.
