SAN DIEGO-The purchase of three life sciences properties in San Diego by Pasadena-based biotech real estate giant, Alexandria Real Estate Equities Inc. gave out signs of consolidation and more acquisitions in the biotech sector.
The life sciences buildings were owned by San Diego-based Veralliance Properties Inc. Although details about the deal were unavailable, CoStar Group has reported that one of the buildings, the 66,244-square-foot Carroll Business Center in Mira Mesa, was sold out in the middle of July.
