WASHINGTON, DC-AvalonBay Communities Inc., an Arlington-based firm, has purchased 2.64 acres of land in Tysons Corner for $13.3 million. The firm is planning to construct a 354-unit apartment community, Avalon Park Crest, on Westpark Drive in Tysons Corner.
The construction will start in October and will be completed in 2012. The site is a portion of the Park Crest development that comprises a Harris Teeter grocery store, condos and apartments. For the full story, go to Washington Business Journal.
