WASHINGTON, DC-The 10-year and 20-year interest rates on US Small Business Administration (SBA) 504 loans decreased to a record-low value in September 2010 for the first time.

Now, the 20-year interest rate on SBA loans is 4.62%, with the previous record value of 4.86% in October 2009. For a 10-year industrial equipment loan, the interest rate in September 2010 is 3.68%, lower than the previous record of 4.15% reached in November 2009.
