DALLAS-The Kroger supermarket chain is considering locating one of its stores on the site of Elliott's Hardware on Maple Avenue near Love Field in Dallas. Elliott's had listed its Maple Avenue store for sale in June for $8 million.
Gary Huddleston, a spokesperson for the supermarket chain said that the conversion is part of an aggressive expansion plan for Dallas. Kroger is planning to start construction of a Kroger Fresh Fare store in late October near downtown Dallas. For the full story, go to Dallas Morning News.
