NEW YORK CITY-Passenger railroad company Amtrak and Krispy Creme Donuts have sued to block the sale of the lease on Penn Station by its franchisee Satellite Donuts, to the operator of Jamba Juice.

The lease sale was valued at $500,000 and the retail space has an area of 575 square feet, fetching a rent of $120,000 annually at roughly $209 per square feet. The lease will expire in 2012 and was marketed by MYC & Associates. For the full story, go to The New York Observer.
