NEW YORK CITY-Passenger railroad company Amtrak and Krispy CremeDonuts have sued to block the sale of the lease on Penn Station byits franchisee Satellite Donuts, to the operator of JambaJuice.

The lease sale was valued at $500,000 and the retail space hasan area of 575 square feet, fetching a rent of $120,000 annually atroughly $209 per square feet. The lease will expire in 2012 and wasmarketed by MYC & Associates. For the full story, go toThe New York Observer.
