WORCESTER, MA-The construction of the delayed CitySquaredevelopment project in Worcester has started. Phase I of themulti-use proposal comprises erection of an eight-story officetower, which will host the insurer Unum Group's offices.

A part of the former Worcester Common Outlets Mall will be razedand a new street, named Mercantile Street, will be constructed,which will link the Front and Foster Streets. The majorcontribution for phase I is a private investment of $110 million.For the full story, go to Boston Globe.
