HERNDON, VA-Two brokerages have landed separate assignments, both of which are centered in Northern Virginia’s submarkets. CB Richard Ellis has been tapped by Brandywine Realty Trust to lease five buildings in Northern Virginia with 381,505 square feet of available space.

The five buildings are: 8521 Leesburg Pk., a 52,559-square-foot building in Vienna, VA; 1880 Campus Commons Dr., a 172,448-square-foot property in Reston; 2121 Cooperative Way in Herndon, which is 26,642 square feet; 2355 Dulles Corner Blvd. in Herndon, which is 38,869 square feet and 13825 Sunrise Valley Dr., a 90,987-square-foot building Herndon. CBRE’s Rob Faktorow, Terry Reiley and Dan Falls will be handling the assignment.

Transwestern has secured the plum assignment of managing and leasing DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners’s recently acquired portfolio in Tysons Corner. Consisting of 110 acres of land and close to two-dozen office buildings, the portfolio will be overseen by Cityline Partners, a newly formed affiliate of DLJ. The team includes Dennis Flynn, David Popp, Bernie McKeever Sr. and Don Atchison.
