NEW YORK CITY-Members of the West Side Tennis Club remain divided over the sale of the club's 2.4-acre stadium land, which has played host to the US open for more than 60 years.
According to the current proposal, the stadium will be sold to Cord Meyer Development Co. for up to $9 million with another 3.8 acres of land to be set aside as a "no-build zone". The developer plans to construct high-end condominiums on the site. For the full story, go to Wall Street Journal.
