SHIPPENSBURG, PA-Campus Apartments, a Philadelphia-basedstudent-housing developer, will upgrade Shippensburg University'son-campus housing at a first-phase cost of $63 million. Theproject, which also includes a new wellness center and honorcollege facilities is set for completion in the fall of 2012.

This is the second development deal in the state that CampusAparments' management announced this month that it inked. It isalso building a 413-room freshmanresidence hall at St. Joseph's University inPhiladelphia.

The local project will break ground next year. It is comprisedof three residential buildings that will accommodate 900 studentsin addition to the honors college.
