JERSEY CITY-The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Ltd., a subsidiaryof Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, has signed a nine-year,24,607-square-foot expansion lease at Mack-Cali’s Realty Corp.’sHarborside Financial Center here. The tenant was represented in thetransaction by Cushman & Wakefield New Jersey’s Fred Smith andCurtis Foster.

The new lease is coterminous with the firm’s existing137,076-square-foot lease at Harborside Plaza 3. It brings thetotal space leased by the bank in the complex to 161,683 squarefeet.

According to Mitchell E. Hersh, president and CEO of the Edison,based REIT, the 3.1-million-square-foot Harborside Financial Centeris currently 98.8% leased. In August, insurance firm Frenkel &Co. Inc. signed an 11-yearlease for 23,516 square feet at Harborside FinancialCenter Plaza 3
