LAS VEGAS-Nevada residents were divided over the proposed Starr Avenue interchange development located in the southern valley on Interstate 15 by the Nevada Department of Transportation.

The department wants the $32 million project to connect the two remote sides of the valley by constructing an east-west arterial.
