PORTLAND, OR-On Thursday, a Bethesda, MD-based realty investment trust, Pebblebrook Hotel Trust, disclosed that it has agreed to acquire a full-service hotel in the metropolitan area of Portland, Oregon. The Maryland trust paid $56 million for the hotel, and the deal will be closed within 60 days.
The Portland hotel will be turned into a corporate sibling to Sir Francis Drake Hotel in San Francisco. The name of the hotel acquired by Pebblebrook was not disclosed. For the full story, go to Portland Business Journal.
