NEW YORK CITY-The New York Institute of Technology has inked a 15-year lease for five floors measuring 52,000 square feet totally at 26 West 61st St., where it already rents one floor.
The Brodsky Organization is the owner of the building and the asking rent was high $40 per square foot. Prior to this agreement, the school already occupies 135,000 square feet of space in five towers located at West 61st, 62nd and 63rd streets and around Broadway.
