CARY, NC-Phillips Development, a Tampa, FL-based developer, has started construction of Phillips Swift Creek, a 196-unit apartment project in Cary.

CARY, NC-Phillips Development, a Tampa, FL-based developer, has started construction of Phillips Swift Creek, a 196-unit apartment project in Cary. The project, slated to open in July 2011, will feature one split-level tower and seven three-story towers.

Phillips has hired Rosemont-based McShane Construction Co. to construct the properties, which are financed via the HUD 221(d)(4) program. McShane is also constructing Phillips' 300-unit apartment tower named Phillips Mallard Creek in Charlotte. For the full story, go to Triangle Business Journal.
