CHICAGO-Two mortgage banks, JPMorgan Chase & Co. and GMAC Mortgage LCC, a unit of Ally Financial, have suspended thousands of foreclosures, till they complete scrutinizing the accuracy of the loan documents. However, it is premature to declare whether the steps taken will permit some house owners to get their homes back or save their houses.
