ANAHEIM, CA-Locally based Milan Capital Management Inc. has landed the management assignment for the 135,000-square-foot Euclid Plaza shopping center in Anaheim, a class A center anchored by 99 Ranch and supported by national and regional tenants such as Starbucks, Yogurtland, US Army, AT&T, Lee’s Sandwiches, JollyBee and others. Separately, Milan has filled 59,857 square feet at its Palm Court Shopping Center in Fontana with four new leases.

Euclid Plaza, which was built in the 1960’s and was renovated in 2001, is owned by C&Z Partners, which previously had another third-party management company managing the property. The center is at 601-697 Euclid St., at Euclid Street and Crescent Avenue.

Chris Nichelson, president of Milan Capital, describes the property as "an extremely busy center" that is 88% occupied, with several new leases in negotiation. He adds that Milan's new management assignment for the center reflects the Anaheim-based company's focus on growing its third-party management business.

At the Palm Court Shopping Center, Milan reports that AJ Wright, Mensland, Bravo Bargain and Fashion Q have all signed new leases at the 221,000-square-foot center, which is at 16920-17210 Slover, on the corner of Slover and Sierra, next to the 10 Freeway in Fontana. AJ Wright signed for 23,807 square feet for 120 months for a total consideration of $1.82 million; Mensland signed for 11,670 square feet for 66 months for a consideration of $630,715; Bravo Bargain's lease is for 17,340 square feet for 66 months for $613,836; Fashion Q signed a $730,106 deal for 7,040 square feet for 84 months.

Built in the mid-1990’s, the Palm Court center is 92% occupied, with more deals in the works that would occupy another 14,000 square feet. The center is anchored by Target, Ross and the newly signed AJ Wright.
