LOS ANGELES-Charles Dunn Co. has created the position of president of brokerage and has hired 21–year industry veteran Chris Atkinson for the new post as the L.A.-based firm continues its restructuring. Atkinson, who will oversee all of Charles Dunn’s nine brokerage offices in California and Arizona, joins CEO Chris Cooper and president of property management Patrick Conn as newly named executives at Dunn to help lead the strategic initiatives and growth of the 89-year-old firm.

Atkinson’s hiring is one of a number of new company-wide initiatives at Dunn, which is planning an upcoming move from its current West Los Angeles office to a new location in Century City. Cooper says that Atkinson role will be to “build cohesive and meaningful integrated service opportunities that will allow every aspect of Charles Dunn to expand, grow and thrive.”
