NEW YORK CITY-The New York City Fire Department has leased10,820 square feet of space at 512 W. 23rd Street in West Chelseafor an undisclosed rent to house a new Emergency Medical Servicecenter. Ground-floor spaces in the area could fetch rents between$70 per square foot and $100 per square foot.
