HOUSTON-Whole Foods Market, an upscale grocery chain based in Austin, has finally prepared plans for a new store in the mixed-use development, BLVD Place, situated at the corner of San Felipe and Post Oak Boulevard.

Whole Foods will be leasing a 48,500-square-foot space in the project, which has slowed down due the economy. BLVD Place will have 400,000 square feet of restaurants and specialty shops and a 325,000 square-foot office space. Construction of the project will begin next summer.
