DUSSELDORF, GERMANY-The Frankfurt, Germany office of the Carlyle Group has leased almost 100,000 square feet to RolfsPartner Management Consultants, an independent business consulting and accounting firm. The tenant is moving from current offices on Grafenberger Allee into the new Cubes offices at Cecilienallee here.
The new complex offers about 150,000 square feet, according to a Carlyle statement. RolfsPartner will take over its space after Carlyle finishes construction on the property, said Hartmut Gluck, a Carlyle director, in the statement. Colliers Trombello Kolbel advised Carlyle on this lease. Terms of the lease were not available.
The Cubes property is alongside the Rhine River, and includes two four-story buildings and one five-story structure. Nearby is the local government facilities, the courthouse and the headquarters of German energy provider E. ON AG.
With a combined equity of $4.8 billion, the three funds managed by Carlyle Europe Real Estate Partners invest in office, retail and logistic properties throughout Europe. Investments in Germany include the Versatel building in Stuttgart, the BrahmsQuartier in Hamburg and the Gansemarkt 45 retail center in Hamburg.
