WASHINGTON, DC-The team, which is preparing to transform WalterReed Army Medical Center, has plans to convert the campus'sbuildings, which sit on the 60-plus acre of land in NorthwestWashington, into a mixed-use development.

The reuse plan of the District, followed by the Walter ReedLocal Redevelopment Authority, features 2.2 million square feet ofnew development, which includes a 90,000-square-foot office space,200,000-square-foot retail space, 850 residential units and 40acres of open space.
